Supporting Vets with Traumatic Brain Injury

Generally I'm not in favor of traumatic brain injuries. Everything I hear and read, however, tells me that we're pretty much on the edge of an epidemic, due to the cumulative effects of five years in the Iraq. So while it's not exactly practical in the usual sense, this event does have a practical purpose... What: U.S. Air Force Cycling Classic When: Sunday, May 4th, 2008, 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. Where: The Crystal Route ( starting at the U.S. Air Force Memorial) Beneficiary: "Raisin Hope" organization for research, rehabilitation, and support for veterans who have suffered traumatic brain injury. To Register: Arlington Sports Also, to prevent traumatic brain injuries while riding a bike, wear a helmet.
